Pier 57 recently earned enthusiastic support from NYC’s Community Board 4, setting the stage for the development of this waterfront space to move forward! Our design uses upcycled shipping containers to transform the vacant pier into a vibrant marketplace with restaurants and retail shops. Pier 57 is located on the Hudson River, at 15th Street, in the Chelsea/MeatPacking neighborhoods. In addition to the retail shops and restaurants, the overhauled pier will include an open rooftop space that will be used by the TriBeCa Film Festival for outdoor screenings and other cultural events.
