Two different size tubular sections are inserted in these two identical warehouse bays. The floor/walls and ceiling/walls corners are rounded to create a seamless background for large architectural installations. The larger “tube” houses the main exhibition area, the smaller one a secondary exhibition area and office.
The corridor-like space in between the two “tubes” is divided up into entrance, reception and storage by the reception desk and a screen. Both are made out of metal mesh imbibed into translucent rubber, and both rotate on a central pivot to allow access to the area behind them.
