Waco ARTPLACE is an arts education center devoted to youth and community programs. Based on the success of their annual festival, Waco Arts Fest has decided to create a permanent home with year-around programs and events.
The project is centered around an existing 4,000sf brick building at the corner of Elm Avenue and Dallas Street in east Waco with a 3,500sf addition made of shipping containers.
The existing building will serve as art workshop and lecture hall, while the addition will provide reception, cafe and additional space for gatherings/classes.
