WE START WITH THE THINGS WE FIND
concept & vision
our installation in the Ca Granda courtyard of the University of Milano is a green-energy Gel Bulb, a floating blue-glowing soft structure lit by LED and powered by solar panels
design & architecture
our bulb is a cube lifted off the ground, supported by a scaffold and attached to the historic building, a luminous intruder or parasite within the old courtyard
program & use
entering from below, the experience of the viewer is immersive and includes the sensorial aspect of the soft surfaces of the cube, completely lined with soft blue gel and lit by blue light
impact & significance
ephemeral, soft, glowing, a spaceship and a construction site, colorful, surprising, playful
