an empty paint bucket on a wall
2007
12"x14"x12"
paint bucket / metal wire / vinyl / light socket + bulb / wiring
concept & vision
we install an empty paint bucket on the wall, lid included, after inserting a socket and a light bulb within. The resulting lamp, or sconce, slightly oversized and playful, literally illuminates the subtle details of this non-descript and very basic object
