concept & vision

we insert the side of a truck container, leftover from the Guzman Penthouse, one of our first projects, as a closet/storage that separates work and living - at the beginning one of us was living there too. The truck container is rebranded with our studio name and retrofitted with a digital portfolio made with old TV sets

program & use

the front area is the studio proper, while the rear houses also kitchen and bathroom. Steel shelving, sink, large fan, shower tub are all leftovers from the previous meat users. Found signage and metal sheets close the walls. The entry stairwell is reimagined through a grid of nails that also support a random set of lights

impact & significance

we make do with what we find. As newly-arrived immigrants, we are in awe by the amount of discarded materials and objects in this new world. We take things in, finding new ways to use them. And start experimenting with urban leftovers
